Business Development Project Manager - Zurich - 6/12 Month Contract

Background: (My client) a leading Telecommunications organisation in Zurich are searching for a Business Development Project Manager.

The position is responsible for the strategic and operational development of the Cross & Up-Selling performance (value optimization) in my clients telecoms shops/stores. All elements are processed that are relevant for the sustainable increase in Cross & UpSell numbers (incentives, training, POS communication, offers, reporting & performance management, etc.). The tasks include the analysis, the development of measures, implementation and execution.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Reaching the X-Sell sales targets in your own shops
  • Channel management (incentives, training, tech support, credit check, back office, service teams) including increasing channel performance
  • Control and optimization of sales strategies, sales and service processes to reduce the hurdles for the Frontline Mitarbeiter
  • Cooperation with the regional heads of shops on strategy, coordination, order placement and performance control
  • Coordination and placing of orders with product management for an optimal product mix
  • Coordination and placing of orders with process management for optimized processes
  • Development, coordination and placing of orders with Marketing / GTM for promotions and campaigns, sales documents, channel communication and POS presence
  • Picking management
  • Creation of reports, analyzes and statistics
  • Creation of mgmt. Presentations on all aspects of strategic and operational issues for the direct retail channel
  • Development of measures to improve quality

Must haves:

  • BSc or higher in business administration / marketing or comparable training & professional experience
  • At least 5 years of strategic and operational experience in channel management / partner management in a retail environment (ideally TelCo)
  • Strong understanding of retail business and frontline mitarbeiter
  • Experience with ClickView / ClickSense and / or order management and checkout systems in the retail sector
  • Confident appearance and negotiating skills, strong presentation
  • Stylish in spoken and written (DE and EN)
  • High sales & marketing affinity
