Medior Network Engineer

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Medior Network Engineer.

Profile

We are looking for someone to join this multi-disciplinary infrastructure/network team, someone who sees supporting our client in the field of networking as a challenge.

In this varied and exciting role, you will be a member of the implementation team within the Operations department in the Hague Area. You are a Network Engineer with at least four years of relevant experience, who is passionate about all aspects of networking and gets a thrill out of designing, implementing, and supporting high-performance networks.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of firewalls, routers and switches;
• Knowledge you IP routing equipment;
• BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VLAN, VXLAN, IPSEC, TCP ;
• Proactively improve our infrastructure and remove manual overhead by automation (e.g. Bash, Python, Go);
• 30% management of core networks;
• 40% handling of incidents, changes and problems;
• 30% project/migration work;
• You are fluent in English;
• 3+ years of working experience in Enterprise environments;
