Linux/DevOps engineer - Financial industry- Freelance/contract

Our client, an innovative player in the financial industry, is looking for a Linux DevOps engineer. This is a senior position with a contract duration of 6 months. The clinet is looking for a team player that is responsible, results-driven and problem solver. Are you that person?

The ideal candidate

• More than 5 years of experience with Linux OS ex. Redhat enterprise, Centos, Debian
• Experienced in automated deployment and configuration
• Solid knowledge in scripting ansible playbooks
• Hands-on experience with scripting (python, bash or perl)
• Extensive hands-on experience with Docker containers
• Familiar with mesos/marathon or kubernetes is a big plus
• Results driven and problem solver attitude (No quitters)

The job

• Monitoring and supporting production environment
• Participate in projects from development to deployment into production
• Troubleshooting and solving incidents
• Automate installations
• Checking monitor alarms, diagnosing the symptoms, analysing the root causes and making preventive plans
