An International payment processing servicer provider looking to hire a Lead DevOps Engineer.
This business, based in Cologne enables product businesses to sell across international borders even with diverse tax laws throughout specific countries. They currently have 30-35 employees and are completely self funded from 2011 to now, became quickly profitable and are steadily scaling via their own funds. They B2B and B2C products to generate revenue from service subscription fee's.
From a technical perspective, they have DevOps running currently, but their main focus for this hire is the deployment of Kubernetes on AWS. Their current tech stack includes:
- PHP and Laravel for backend engineers.
- Angular for frontend.
- Elk Stack and MongoDB.
- Docker, Kubernetes and AWS with ECS.
- Ansible and Chef with monitoring tools.
The need for a lead comes from losing their Cto, who was working ¾ separate roles in 1. They have split his role up, split up management for a more streamlined focus with the ability to meet deadlines, deploy Kubernetes on Aws successfully and maintain the platform migration to AWS.
Besides offering a cool quirky office in the heart of Cologne by bars and restaurants across the street, this small business is focused on tech ability standards. Focused on working in Agile, focused on your own personal development as well as roof terrace where they host summer parties, BBQ's and afterwork drinks.
