Head of Software Development

I'm currently working with an e-learning company, that has seen meteoric success. Their product is used by tons of businesses worldwide and it doesn't stop here. Due to their incredible growth, they are now seeking a Head of Software Development.

To be the ideal candidate for this role, you have:

• Senior knowledge of software architecture/design as well as technical trends in software development.
• Previous experience as a software developer.
• Experience in multi-layered applications.
• Good knowledge of object-oriented software development (PHP)
• Symfony & React frameworks.
• Fluent German preferred, but not essential.
• University degree in computer science or similar.

The role:

• Defining and implementing software architectures and software design.
• Defining development targets.
• Evaluating and implementing suitable technologies for further development of the product.
• Actively participate in software development.
• Responsible for the overall architecture.
• Technical management of the software development team.
