Head of Platform Engineering

An international fin-tech player is looking to revolutionize the insurance market and is searching for a Head of Platform engineering to shape and scale their high traffic platform to serve millions of users around the world. They expect you to promote engineering excellence, focus on cross function collaboration and end to end responsibility, provide constant guidance and support to the platform engineering teams for their constant growth and development opportunities.

You will be solving complex infrastructure challenges and deliver solutions that will improve the life of their partners and customers. You will also be empowering your team to deliver the design and implementation of the cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, security, reliability and resilience of their platform.

Do you have:

• 5+ years platform engineering management - leading and motivating teams.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and container orchestration such as Amazon AWS and Kubernetes
• Background in Software engineering and Python, Java or Go languages.
• Experience building high traffic customer facing platforms on the cloud.
• Expert in running critical mission services and effective incident resolution.
• A leader mindset and outstanding communication skills (English)
