Head of Frontend

"Lead and shape the future of the frontend department!"

Do you like the mix of hands on development with a nice blend of management/operational challenges within an environment that encourage collaboration, growth and continuous development?

Focused on working in an Angular stack, this Berlin based company are currently looking for find a talented Head of Frontend who has the capacity to tackle their most important challenge within the tech team, the frontend.

Working with the current development team and continuing to build where you feel is needed, you will work on a platform that is commonly used across the country, focused on an industry that they have been part of for the past 10+ years!

Requirements:

  • Experience leading a frontend development team, focused around road mapping, quality checking, reviewing and career planning.
  • Exposure to both hands-on development and management.
  • Experience specifically in JavaScript and Angular is mandatory.
  • Open minded thinker, someone who can see a challenge and find a solution within a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Exposure to the real estate industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work within Scrum environments is highly advantageable.

The role:

  • To lead and take ownership of the current frontend development team.
  • Ensure continuous movement of the delivery pipeline, communicate with internal stakeholders to make sure projects are delivered on time.
  • Introduce new technologies across the frontend that can streamline the platform or improve it.
  • Take advantage of the local conferences and meet-ups to drive development internally within the team.
  • Support the wider company from a management level.
  • Take ownership of the recruitment process for the frontend.
