Do you prefer varied tasks, challenging projects, working together with several developers and experts, being a consultant who typically sits in the Oslo office? Your dream job could be a developer with us!

We at primarily create web applications, MineSider and websites for our customers. First of all, but not only - as you know, data can live in many different places, from time to time it has to be moved from one place to another, played with, massaged or cleaned, so sometimes we do things a little differently things also that users don't see. Maybe we need to whip up a proxy API, a little nightly daemon or maybe some security solutions need to be put in place. But! We only do that if it can be linked to a better experience for those who will use the solution.
So we on the technology team define ourselves as full-stack people. That doesn't mean we are the same or do everything the same.

We are a whole bunch, in addition to the above, with committed geeks who work on different things in interdisciplinary teams, and everything we make is good stuff that people need.


That's how we work

We are consultants and work on long and short assignments, in interdisciplinary teams together with the other disciplines in Netlife (designers, content people and product and project managers) - and our customers.
We have many different customers, with many different needs. That is why we work in a varied way, and both what the customers need and what you are most interested in play a big role in which tasks you have and who you sit with.
We talk a lot with the customers, and continuously spar with them about the opportunities and challenges they have. Nevertheless, we are concerned that you should be able to focus and work on one project at a time, usually here in the office, some days perhaps at home and occasionally at the customer's when it is important.
We spend most of our time coding. But equally important is drawing and planning how something should work, together with your team and the customer. Netlife technologists participate in the entire process, both technically and functionally.

Our stack


We cannot be experts in everything. In order to effectively scale up and down the effort in projects, we run a number of standardisations. Our standard tools include:
* Next.js
* React.js
* Twig
* Craft CMS
* SQL / GROQ / GraphQL
* Tailwind CSS
* Git/GitHub

We still encounter a lot of other platforms and stacks.
You don't need to have experience with all of these. But you are probably well acquainted with one or another variant of javascript, are not unfamiliar with the use of APIs and you may have come across enough languages, architectures and solutions to feel comfortable in a varied everyday life. (If you have experience with Craft CMS, that's very good.) The technologists at Netlife are specialists, but also pragmatic, practical, fearless and curious to familiarize themselves with new and unknown things.

We do not know who you are and what personality traits and interests you have, because we have not met you.
We are not concerned with or where you learned what you can, but we are concerned with what you can do and how you learn. Your education is relevant but not essential. If your background is from something completely different, that's often just an advantage, as long as you're motivated by coding good stuff.
