Our client is seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join the team in Stuttgart. As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for handling the high-scale infrastructure of the large online web shop. You will be working with Terraform and Kubernetes to ensure that all systems are running efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the development team to ensure smooth deployment of applications and services to AWS
- Handle the high-scale infrastructure of our large online web shop
- Manage and optimize AWS resources including EC2, RDS, S3, and other services
- Develop and maintain Terraform code for infrastructure management
- Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters for application deployment
- Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions for infrastructure-related problems
- Migrate legacy systems to the cloud
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that systems are running efficiently and reliably
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience working as an AWS DevOps Engineer
- Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline setup and management
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
