Our client is currently looking for a Customer Director to join their team in Copenhagen The "Director" part of the title doesn't refer to your level of seniority, it's more of a description of your duties. The perfect candidate has less than 3 years of professional experience and will have a direct manager in this department.
The company in question is helping to bring the shipping industry into the 21st century, by using clever analytics they're vastly improving the efficiency of both shipping companies and ports. At the moment 50% of all container ships are delayed coming into port, historically, companies would try to resolve this problem with archaic processes that are limited in their return and to be frank, don't have the capability of maximising the global demand for international services. This companies product completely changes this and is allowing a level efficiency the industry hasn't seen before. Saving companies time, money and even significantly reducing the carbon footprint made by the shipping industry.
This role will require you to have excellent customer-facing skills, with your main focus being converting pilots into full subscriptions. You will be expected to speak with clients and understand both their challenges and how they would gauge success. In doing so, you will need to work with the companies internal development team, advising them on how to create a tailored solution for the client's unique problem. You will be expected to speak with multiple parts of the business and keep track of the process even whilst it's in use, so it will help if you have an understanding of analytics, purely to process the numbers and give clarity in your direction.
