Construction Supervisor FTTH

I am currently working with a really exciting client who are at the forefront of driving Germanys digitsation of Fibre networks to the house and to the premises.

Tasks:

• Carrying out building inspections and participating in construction meetings and inspections In close coordination with the construction management of the general contractor
• Recording of measurements and preparation of bills of quantities as well as maintenance of documentation
• Technical approvals and General Contractor Measurements Approvals
• Site inspections on a regular basis and close coordination with the site management
• Resolution of discrepancies as a point of contact for construction partners
• Verification of compliance with all technical and legal requirements for quality, occupational safety and environmental protection during construction

Requirements:

• Trained in a telecommunications profession, electrical engineering, civil engineering or a comparable qualification
• Previous professional experience in the field of fiberoptics (NE3, NE4 desirable)
• Experience with required regulations i.e ZTV road construction
• knowledge of VOB B
• Microsoft Office knowledge i.e Excel
• Willing to work on site
• A valid German Driving License
• Fluent German
