Are you an experienced Android Engineer looking for a new challenge or a professional engineer with experience developing automotive / infotainment products looking to broaden your skillset?
Join this innovative team where they are revolutionizing the automotive industry by developing cutting-edge software for the car's interior, designing and implementing frameworks, applications, and user interfaces using the latest technologies.
In this role, you'll be part of our connected media team, working on developing infotainment systems using Android and Linux. You'll collaborate with the media team to integrate media and smartphone technologies such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and wireless media playback. Your responsibilities will include the entire development cycle, from concept and architecture coordination to implementation, documentation, testing, and maintenance. We use agile development methods, and you'll also have the opportunity to test your work in vehicles.
We're looking for candidates with a degree in computer science or a related field, or who have IT specialist or career changer experience with the necessary knowledge. You should have experience developing Android apps in Kotlin and be proficient in standard developer tools.
Experience in multithreaded programming, Android system development, and knowledge of C++ is an advantage. Strong German and English skills are required. If you're an independent worker with high standards and a passion for thinking outside the box, we want to hear from you!
