Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize computer vision algorithms using Python and C++
• Work with frameworks like OpenCV, TensorFlow, and PyTorch to develop advanced solutions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate research into scalable, real-world products
• Conduct performance analysis and optimize models for real-time applications
• Stay current on the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and computer vision
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers

Key Requirements:

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related field
• At least 2+ years of experience in a research institution or university, with additional commercial experience
• Expertise in Python and C++ for computer vision applications
• Strong proficiency with frameworks such as OpenCV; experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus
• Fluency in German at C1 level or higher is mandatory
• Must be based in Germany and available to work on-site in Munich
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
