Data Engineer – Kafka

NB: For this position we are only considering candidates already located inside of the Netherlands, and we cannot provide relocation services.

My client is looking for a Data Engineer to monitor and elevate their network performance. You will be instrumental in designing, developing and managing solutions to collect, store and analyse large volumes of real-time data from the network, ensure accessibility of data streams for other departments, building and testing solutions, configuring and monitoring a Big Data environment.

Main expectations for the role are:

• 4+ years' experience in data engineering
• Strong experience in designing, developing and maintaining real-time data pipelines for streaming in Apache Kafka
• Proficiency in KSQL, Python and/or Java
• Track record of delivering real time data solutions, including optimization and large scale data infrastructure for high performance and activity
• Experience in SQL, NoSQL and database designs
• Analytical, collaborative with great communication skills
