Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced EPC Project Manager to join our team in Darmstadt and take charge of the end-to-end management of photovoltaic (PV) solar projects. As a key player in our mission to advance renewable energy, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) lifecycle of solar projects. This role demands a strategic thinker who can manage complex projects, ensure seamless collaboration across various teams, and deliver projects that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, from initial concept through to commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure all project aspects are aligned and resources are effectively utilized.
• Contractor Management: Select, manage, and oversee contractors and subcontractors, ensuring that they meet performance expectations and adhere to project timelines.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, environmental standards, and company policies, with a strong emphasis on safety and sustainability.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the project.
• Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial performance meets expectations, and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
• Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure that all project deliverables meet or exceed client and regulatory standards.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in EPC project management, with a proven track record in delivering large-scale PV solar projects.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of engineering principles, procurement processes, and construction management, particularly within the renewable energy sector.
• Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with strong skills in scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality control.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external contractors and stakeholders.
• Languages: Fluency in German and English is essential.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
• Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a readiness to adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
