Darwin is assisting a Munich based Teir 1 Automotive supplier in finding the ideal Senior Development Engineer for their ADAS Perception team, here are the details:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of software products related to perception technology.
  • Plan resources effectively to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with the Perception Center Leader to strategically develop the team's capabilities.
  • Conduct technical interviews to identify and hire top talent.
  • Actively shape the innovation process, including R&D planning and roadmap creation.
  • Continuously improve development processes, methodologies, and team productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (or PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, numerical analysis, and optimization.
  • Deep expertise in object-oriented programming, particularly C++.
  • Proficient in Python for scripting, data analysis, and visualization.
  • Experience in designing software architectures for automotive applications.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, GitHub, CodeBeamer).
