Air Compressor Installation Technician

Location: Brockton, MA

Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 + Overtime + Benefits

Position Type: Full-Time

Overview:

The Install Technician acts as a representative for the Company and oversees the installation of air compressors, dryers, tanks, and associated compressed air products. These services are provided on-site and on-demand to guarantee total customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Installing heavy machinery such as Air Compressors, Nitrogen Generators, Vacuum Systems, and related equipment.
• Setting up the required piping for air systems according to specific job specifications, involving precise measurement, marking, and cutting of aluminum and copper pipes.
• Demonstrating a positive outlook and a drive to enhance the existing sales and service operations.
• Capable of maintaining and managing a company vehicle.
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Fulfilling additional tasks as delegated.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in problem-solving.
• Experience in pipefitting is essential.
• Additional experience in plumbing or mechanical work is advantageous.
• Strong customer service and consultative abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of clear communication across various stakeholders such as engineering, technical support, sales, management, and clients.
• Thorough comprehension of manufacturing products and equipment.
• Outstanding organizational skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills, including the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications.

Required Education/Experience:

• Prior hands-on experience with compressed air equipment is highly preferred.
• A background of 2 to 3 years in a service-oriented organization is desirable.
• Full Driver’s license
