We’re looking for a skilled Power Generation Technician to join a highly respected team supporting critical infrastructure across commercial, industrial, and municipal clients. What You’ll Do:

Perform diagnostic, preventative, and corrective maintenance on standby generators (5-2000+ kW)

Troubleshoot and repair engine, electrical, and control systems (including Deep Sea, Cummins, Kohler, etc.)

Inspect, test, and repair automatic transfer switches (ATS) and paralleling switchgear
-
Complete load bank testing, fuel testing, oil changes, coolant flushes, and start-up commissioning

Work independently in the field and maintain professional communication with dispatch and customers

Accurately document service calls and parts usage via mobile work order system
✅ What You’ll Need:
-
2+ years of generator service experience (industrial/commercial preferred)

Knowledge of diesel engines, gaseous fuel systems, voltage regulation, and controls
-
Experience working with major OEMs like Generac, Kohler, Cummins, or MTU is a plus
-
Ability to read wiring schematics and use diagnostic tools

Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
-
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work in a variety of field environments
