Our client is seeking a Sales Manager to join them at their Haarlem office, where you will be working for an innovative leader in the maritime industry, driving growth and sustainable solutions for the shipping sector.

The mission:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan tailored to the B2B maritime market.
- Identify and engage high-value clients, including shipping companies, ports, and maritime organizations.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate and close complex sales deals, exceeding sales targets.
- (Optional) Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives.
- Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Travel domestically and internationally to meet clients and attend industry events.
Your profile:
- At least 2 years of successful B2B sales experience within the maritime industry, ideally with IT or solutions-based products.
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Strong network within the maritime sector, including shipping companies, ports, and industry organizations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven by success.
- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
