Construction Manager / Railway Construction | Zurich

We’re looking for a Construction Manager / Construction Phase Planner to join a motivated civil engineering team in Zurich, working on exciting railway and infrastructure projects that make a real difference to how people travel and connect.

What the role’s about

You’ll be involved in every stage of railway civil engineering projects – from planning and coordination to on-site execution.
Your days will include:

• Managing and overseeing construction work on-site.

• Helping plan project logistics and construction phases.

• Coordinating across teams to keep everything running smoothly.

• Using modern tools and methods like BIM2Field to make work more efficient and transparent.

What you’ll bring

• A background as a Technician TS or Civil Engineer FH/ETH (or similar).

• A few years of experience in infrastructure or railway construction.

• Knowledge of construction phase planning – ideally in line with SBB standards.

• Confident with MS Office and MS Project (bonus if you’ve used Messerli Bauad, MS Visio, or Tilos).

• You’re reliable, proactive, and enjoy working as part of a team.

• Strong German skills (spoken and written), and bonus points if you also speak French, Italian, or English.
