Duration – 6 Months

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the official Prevention Focal Point (Preventiemedewerker) for the EHS department.
• Identify safety hazards by observing workplace behaviors and procedures, and collaborate with managers to resolve issues.
• Lead and facilitate the RI&E process (Risk Inventarisation and Evaluation).
• Develop and implement EHS standards, programs, and work instructions to ensure site safety.
• Conduct hazard reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs, and root cause analyses.
• Lead safety training, providing guidance on safety equipment and creating lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Supervise high-risk work permits, ensuring safety compliance.
• Coach EHS champions, encouraging continuous improvement in safety culture.
• Facilitate Machine Risk Analysis (MRA) and Explosion Safety Documentation (EVD).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Science, or Engineering.
• 3+ years of EHS experience in the manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch EHS laws, permits, and industry practices.
• Fluent Dutch is required
• Must be based in the Netherlands
