Your Responsibilities:

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment to encourage creativity and problem-solving.
  • Set clear objectives and performance expectations for team members and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Report to the leader of the green hydrogen business and the global director of engineering for P2X solutions.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in chemical, process, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
  • Experience in electrolysis processes and engineering of electrolysis plants is essential.
  • Minimum ten years of experience in leading engineering roles.
  • At least five years of experience leading cross-functional teams and driving improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to consult with customers and notified bodies about technical design requirements.
  • Skilled in explaining design solutions engagingly.
  • Experience performing acceptance tests and supervising installation and commissioning during start-up.
  • Proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams through coaching, mentorship, and talent development.
  • Ability to manage conflicts and resolve interpersonal issues within the team, promoting a harmonious and collaborative work environment.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term and anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Solution-oriented with the confidence to act proactively.
  • Fluent in English; another European language is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel at least 5 days per month.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Customer-focused and open personality with a commitment to performance.
  • High-performance mindset with the capability to operate effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable interacting across cultures.
  • Interest in continuous development and future-oriented thinking.
  • Strong team player who fosters collaboration.
  • Proactive and positive attitude towards tasks.

What We Offer:

  • Secure employment in an innovative and international company with long-term development opportunities.
  • Be part of a world-class team driving the growth of the P2X economy and meeting key environmental targets.
  • Work in a multicultural environment that fosters a culture of continuous development and inclusivity.
  • Operate within a flat hierarchy, open to challenge and debate, with the advantages of a start-up culture within a well-established global firm.
  • Benefit from a hybrid working environment.
