The mission:

• Execute PLC retrofit installations to the latest industry standards.
• Commission PLC systems in shipyards and onboard vessels.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during project execution.
• Provide technical support to other service technicians.
• Generate comprehensive service reports upon project completion.
• Extensive domestic and international travel required.
• Ability to work onboard vessels, often in non-standard hours, for 5-10 day maintenance projects.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in PLC software programming (ST, FBD, LD) for process automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of PDM systems and PLC hardware components (Siemens, Omron, etc.).
• Experience with HMI engineering (Siemens, Intouch, Omron) and automation system networks.
• Familiarity with marine industry equipment and engineering requirements.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
