Working within a talented, globally distributed team, you will help develop and refine decentralized protocols, aiming to deliver the most robust blockchain systems in the industry. Role Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and refine critical blockchain components, with an emphasis on performance, resilience, and scalability.
• Take charge of the technical roadmap, from conception to deployment, ensuring best practices are implemented.
• Lead research initiatives into new technologies, tools, and methods to enhance blockchain development.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive decisions that influence the long-term vision of our technology stack.
• Participate in blockchain events, and continuously seek out opportunities to contribute to and learn from the wider blockchain community.

Required Expertise:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Rust, particularly focused on blockchain technologies.
• Proven experience in designing and deploying layer-one (L1) blockchain networks.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, with a focus on writing optimized, secure, and scalable code.
• Experience with software documentation, testing, and development cycles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to mentor team members and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Self-starter with a high degree of motivation and minimal oversight required.

Preferred Skills:

• Practical experience in building L1 blockchains using Rust and Substrate.
• Understanding of dApps, rollups, or other decentralized technologies, with a focus on Ethereum or other EVM-compatible systems.
• Knowledge of cryptographic concepts, including Zero Knowledge Proofs, and their application to blockchain.
