Technical Superintendent – Coastal Ships
Location: Moormerland, Germany
Salary: €80,000 – €90,000
About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Superintendent to oversee a fleet of coastal vessels, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in coastal shipping, strong technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical performance of up to six coastal ships
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintenance standards
- Supervise dry-docking, repairs, and inspections
- Manage technical budgets and spare parts procurement
- Liaise with crew, shipowners, and regulatory authorities
- Implement preventative maintenance programs
Requirements
- Minimum three years of experience in coastal shipping
- European candidate with English fluency (Dutch/German preferred)
- Offshore experience is a plus
- Strong technical knowledge of vessel operations
