About the Role:

As a Structural/FEA Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the structural integrity and performance of cutting-edge yachts. You will work on creating and refining construction drawings and performing finite element analysis (FEA) to optimize structural components. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of yacht innovation, balancing technical rigor with aesthetic precision to meet the highest industry standards.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your projects, applying your expertise to ensure designs are both functional and elegant. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to the overall design process, helping to bring bold and innovative concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structural Design: Develop and refine construction drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and client requirements.
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Perform advanced structural calculations and optimization using FEA tools to ensure the safety and performance of all designs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with naval architects, designers, and other engineering professionals to integrate structural solutions into the overall yacht design.
  • Project Management: Take ownership of projects, managing deadlines, deliverables, and ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs adhere to regulatory requirements and meet stringent quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 2-3+ years of experience in yacht construction or a related field, with a strong focus on structural design and analysis is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience creating detailed construction drawings. Advanced expertise in finite element analysis (FEA) for structural calculations and optimization.
  • Languages: Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. A team player with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
