Job Title: Site Manager – Large-Scale Solar Park Projects
Location: Site based 200km West of Berlin – Regular travel
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to oversee the construction and execution of large-scale solar park projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and extensive knowledge of civil and electrical works related to solar energy installations.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for large-scale solar projects.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of the project.

Monitor project progress, including schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.

Supervise site teams, including site supervisors, technicians, and laborers.

Resolve technical and logistical challenges that arise during construction.

Conduct regular site inspections and enforce safety protocols to mitigate risks.

Manage material deliveries, inventory, and storage on-site.

Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Ensure proper documentation and adherence to permit and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

5+ years of experience in site management, specifically within large-scale renewable energy or solar park projects.

Strong knowledge of solar PV technology, civil works, and electrical installations.

Familiarity with construction regulations, HSE requirements, and industry best practices.

Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:

PMP, NEBOSH, or SMSTS certifications.

Experience working with EPC contractors and managing subcontractors.

Understanding of SCADA systems, grid connections, and commissioning processes.
