Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer – Aircraft Landing Gear

Our client, an innovative aircraft manufacturer with a storied history, is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer for Landing Gear to join their cutting-edge team. Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

• Design and Modify Landing Gear Systems: You will be responsible for the system architecture, sizing, and modification of landing gear and related systems. This includes preparing specifications, drawings, bills of material, and other design documents.

• Safety and Compliance: You will assess safety analyses at both the system and equipment levels and prepare Part 21J compliance documentation (MOC 0-9). Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that the landing gear systems meet stringent safety and regulatory standards.

• Support Testing Activities: You will support qualification, ground, and flight test activities, ensuring that all systems perform to specification under real-world conditions.

• Stakeholder Engagement: As the technical point of contact for external equipment suppliers, you will manage all technical matters and participate in EASA meetings. Your ability to communicate and collaborate effectively will be key to maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

• Conduct Technical Studies: You will perform technical trade studies to evaluate and optimize system designs, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the aircraft program.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should bring:

• A Master’s Degree or Diplomingenieur in Aerospace.
• Over 8 years of experience in landing gear systems.
• Product development experience on at least one aircraft program.
• In-depth knowledge of ARP-4754 and ARP-4761 standards.
• Familiarity with EASA Part 21J and CS/FAR 25 regulations.
• Strong simulation skills and the ability to structure and organize work efficiently.
• A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Creativity, independence, and a strong command of the English language.
