Quality Assurance Officer (GDP)

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer with a strong background in Good Distribution Practice (GDP) to join our pharmaceutical distribution team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with GDP regulations and maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout our distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with GDP guidelines
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure GDP compliance
• Manage and investigate quality-related issues, including deviations, complaints, and CAPAs
• Develop and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to GDP
• Participate in risk assessments and change control procedures
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and support during inspections
• Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality assurance department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a GDP environment within the pharmaceutical industry
• In-depth knowledge of GDP regulations and guidelines
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in data analysis and report writing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with computerized quality management systems
• Familiarity with other GxP regulations (e.g., GMP, GCP)
• Knowledge of cold chain management and temperature-controlled distribution
