Job Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of skilled technicians and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of cement plant equipment. This role requires a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of cement manufacturing processes, equipment, and best practices in maintenance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and supervise all maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Oversee the repair, inspection, and servicing of cement plant equipment, such as kilns, conveyors, crushers, mills, and bagging systems.
• Monitor equipment performance to identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime.
• Develop and enforce maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with operations and engineering teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize production disruptions.
• Manage spare parts inventory, tools, and equipment to support maintenance activities.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance technical skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Conduct root cause analyses for equipment failures and implement corrective measures.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including reports, logs, and work orders.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cement plant machinery and equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software (CMMS) and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including exposure to heat, dust, and noise.
• Capable of climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
