They are seeking a Machinist for the Pasco, WA site.

The Machinist is tasked with configuring and utilizing an assortment of machine tools to craft precise components and instruments essential for the upkeep and repair of diverse equipment. Your responsibilities include crafting and altering parts using lathes and specialized machinery to ensure adherence to specifications for equipment repair.

Some responsibilities include

– Perform dynamic balancing of mechanical assemblies using specialized equipment.
– Execute tool-post grinding tasks (e.g., precision surface facing), broaching procedures, and babbitt bearing work.
– Utilize a range of hand-held and stationary power tools, including band saws, belt sanders, hand grinders, files, etc.
– Handle heavy objects by lifting, tightening, adjusting, and securing them to ensure work safety and efficiency.
– Operate overhead cranes proficiently.
– Use Micrometer for getting accurate measurements
– Use Lathe and Mill material to specification
– Capable of holding 0.0005″ machining tolerances with a variety of equipment.
