Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Product Specialist to join our team. This role involves selling products intended for interventional procedures, maintaining product knowledge, and adapting to changes in the product range.

Internal Relationships:

The employee reports directly to the Sales Director and carries out responsibilities independently with minimal supervision. The role encompasses four key areas: Sales, Planning, Information/Communication, and Reporting.

Responsibilities and Authorities:

  1. Sales:
    • Sell assigned products within a specific sales area to increase revenue.
    • Provide clinical support during procedures and train doctors and cath lab staff.
    • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
    • Conduct regular visits to specialists, paramedics, and buyers.
    • Prepare quotes, organize meetings, attend conferences, and provide clinical workshops.
    • Collaborate with colleagues and manufacturer representatives as needed.
  2. Planning:
    • Share responsibility for planning sales targets and promotional activities.
    • Plan activity schedules in coordination with the Sales Director, General Manager, and management assistant.
  3. Information/Communication:
    • Communicate strategic information about competitors and market trends.
    • Develop an internal information system for customer information.
    • Provide updates on product usage changes to maintain inventory levels.
  4. Reporting:
    • Report daily activities to the Sales Director via email.
    • Create reports for conferences, referral evenings, and special events.
    • Participate in quarterly reviews to adjust planning as necessary.

Growth Opportunities:

  • Specialize in a product area recognized by Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Become the primary contact for technical matters with manufacturers.
  • Conduct training sessions, coordinate clinical studies, prepare market reports, and contribute to sales plans.

Competencies: Education, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Higher vocational education level required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a sales role with proven results.
  • Strong English language skills.
  • Clinical knowledge and familiarity with computer programs.

General Requirements:

  • Adhere to ISO 9001 standards as documented in the quality manual.
  • Follow the Employee Handbook and Corporate Procedures.
