Our client, a leading international developer in the solar energy sector, is renowned for its expertise in the development, turnkey implementation, and financing of high-performance solar parks and hybrid plants for institutional investors and businesses. The company’s operations are directed from its headquarters in Wesel, Germany.
To strengthen our project department in Wesel, we are looking for a Construction Manager to join the team at the earliest opportunity.
Your Role:
As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all construction-related activities across multiple solar projects. Your key tasks will include:
- Managing the construction process for all trades, assembly teams, and subcontractors while coordinating with customers, local authorities, and other service providers.
- Ensuring construction measures are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Supervising the construction site and ensuring projects progress on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
- Assisting with the tendering process for subcontractor services.
- Overseeing the project-related procurement of components while tracking costs and deadlines.
- Carrying out inspections and acceptance of subcontractor services, as well as final handover to the customer.
- Coordinating project commissioning with the respective energy supplier.

Your Profile:
- A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering or civil engineering, or equivalent qualifications in electrical engineering through further education/training.
- Willingness to travel within Germany and a class B driving license.
- Professional experience as a construction manager, ideally within turnkey photovoltaic systems.
- Proficiency in written and spoken German is essential; English language skills are an advantage.
- Knowledge of VOB, contracting, and cost management.
- Strong quality awareness and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
- A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges and manage diverse situations effectively.
