What you will be doing:

• Developing and introducing new technologies to enhance the existing product portfolio
• Creating solutions to complex problems within interdisciplinary and intercultural teams
• Acting as the technical contact for the product portfolio in sales, project management, and service
• Prioritizing and coordinating tasks within the engineering department to maintain and improve the product portfolio, adhering to quality, schedule, and cost plans
• Collaborating on the product roadmap and ensuring its implementation
• Defining and selecting suppliers, and planning tests for new components and assemblies
• Coordinating technically with customers for international project implementation
• Reporting directly to the CTO

Experience you will need:

• Practical experience in plant engineering or laser technology is desirable but not mandatory
• Preferred proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Java, C#, C++) or a scripting language (e.g., Python)
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design
• Good technical expertise and an analytical approach to work
• Confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and customer affinity

Qualifications you will need:

• University degree in mechanical engineering, physics, photonics, or a related field
• Strong command of German and good proficiency in English, both written and spoken
