Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced DOORS and DXL (DOORS Extension Language) Consultant/Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and customizing IBM Rational DOORS, along with a strong proficiency in DXL scripting to enhance and automate processes within the DOORS environment. This role is crucial for optimizing requirements management processes, ensuring data integrity, and developing custom solutions that meet specific project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• DOORS Administration: Manage and maintain the IBM Rational DOORS environment, ensuring its optimal performance and availability for users. Handle user management, project setup, and data integrity within the DOORS database.
• DXL Scripting: Develop and maintain DXL scripts to automate repetitive tasks, generate custom reports, and create new functionalities within the DOORS environment. Customize and enhance DOORS to meet project-specific requirements.
• Requirements Management: Work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and manage system requirements using DOORS. Ensure that requirements are well-structured, traceable, and aligned with project objectives.
• Customization and Integration: Customize DOORS to fit the specific needs of projects, including developing custom views, attributes, and linking strategies. Integrate DOORS with other tools and systems as needed.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for DXL scripts, customizations, and best practices.
