Cyber Security Analyst (Threat Hunting)

This company is looking for a passionate Cyber Security Analyst to join their growing team.

The world of cybersecurity presents daily challenges, and the company fosters a culture of learning and growth. Their mission is to make the digital world safer, every day. They are constantly seeking talented individuals to join their team. Whether you’re an apprentice, professional, or manager, they value everyone for their unique skills and, most importantly, as a person.

What binds the team together?

  • A passion for cybersecurity
  • Dedication to excellence – for themselves and their clients
  • A supportive and collaborative work environment
  • Open communication and streamlined decision-making
  • Hybrid work model offering flexibility
  • Ample trust and space for your ideas and personal development
  • A team that celebrates successes, big and small

The Role

This role focuses on threat hunting, where you’ll be responsible for independently processing and analyzing security incidents for the company’s clients. You’ll work comfortably with their internal ticketing system and possess a strong foundation in threat hunting principles. Regular service management meetings with clients will equip you to understand their needs and actively contribute to improving their security posture.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and processing monthly reports
  • Optimizing sensors to enhance alert quality
  • Assisting with client onboarding
  • Conducting ticket reviews to identify potential errors and improve quality
  • Occasional on-call duty (approximately 2-4 times per year with additional compensation)

Are you a good fit?

  • Completed degree in computer science (university or university of applied sciences) or computer science training (EFZ) with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Solid understanding of Windows, Unix, firewall, and log analysis
  • Knowledge of security incident management
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: QRadar, Tanium, Cortex XDR, Splunk, MS ATP
  • You MUST speak both fluent German and English.

Your Team

The Security Operations Center (SOC) is the heart of their Cyber Defence Centers (CDC). Here, collaboration and mutual support are paramount, as the virtual world can be a demanding battlefield. Whether you work remotely or from their modern Baar office, there’s never a dull moment – after all, attackers never sleep. If you’re passionate about cybersecurity, enjoy teamwork, and crave a dynamic environment that fosters continuous learning and innovation, then this is the place for you!
