Role Overview

We are seeking a Rotary Screw Service Technician to join our Chicago team. This is a field service position, responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and optimizing rotary screw compressors and related compressed air equipment. This role is ideal for a technician with strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a passion for solving problems in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair rotary screw compressors, air dryers, filtration, and related compressed air systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency service calls.
• Conduct start-up, commissioning, and system performance testing.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, job reporting, and parts usage.
• Communicate effectively with customers, ensuring clarity on service findings and recommendations.
• Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives within the other branch.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service experience in compressed air systems, with expertise in rotary screw compressors.
• OEM Factory Training Certificates
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Refrigeration/HVAC experience or training is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
