The mission:

• Design, calculation, and dimensioning of rudder systems.
• 3D modeling of rudder systems using SolidWorks.
• Development of new devices, products, or assemblies, and refinement of existing components.
• Coordination of design details with classification societies, shipyards, and suppliers.
• Preparation of design documents, parts lists, and technical documentation.
• After a certain period of training
  • Assistance and sparring partner for the head of department
  • Administrative works and planning of department processes
  • Controlling of schedules and budget compliances

Your profile:

• Completed studies in shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Extensive professional experience in design, with a strong focus on the application of 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks).
• Proficiency in ANSYS for FEM calculations, MS Office, and ERP software (ideally Navision).
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, for technical documentation and communication with external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities. A team-oriented approach and a passion for innovation.
