Job Description: The Structural Project Engineer will utilize advanced design, engineering, and project management skills to successfully execute projects within our structural team. Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Application of knowledge of principles and practices in the specific practice area.
• Independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Acquisition of general knowledge of principles and practices in related fields.
• Participation in multiple projects of moderate size or contributions to major projects.
• Creation of comprehensive project documents.
• Design, analysis, and interpretation of data.
• Formulation and resolution of complex problems.

Required Skills and Abilities: The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and abilities:

• Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting data and correspondence.
• Strong report writing and business correspondence skills.
• Effective communication in both small group settings and one-on-one interactions.
• Advanced proficiency in discipline-specific software such as AutoCad, Revit, RISA, and Enercalc.
• Mastery of design and engineering concepts.
• Ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions using structural engineering principles.
• Capability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Possession of a professional engineering license from a state licensing agency.
• A valid driver's license (Virginia license may be required).
