About the Client

Our client is a globally recognized engineering firm specializing in EPC projects within the oil & gas sector, with a strong focus on LNG infrastructure. As part of their ongoing LNG terminal extension in the Dominican Republic, they are seeking a skilled Project Controller to support financial oversight and performance tracking across the project lifecycle.

Role Overview

As Project Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and performance of the LNG terminal extension project. You will work closely with project managers, contract managers, and finance teams to monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project budgets, forecasts, and actual costs across multiple disciplines.
• Track project performance indicators (KPIs), including earned value, cost variance, and schedule variance.
• Support monthly reporting and financial reviews with internal and client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Contract Managers to assess financial impact of claims, variations, and change orders.
• Ensure alignment between project execution and financial targets.
• Identify risks and opportunities related to project cost and schedule.
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions and decisions.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Control within EPC Oil & Gas projects (LNG experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of project cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with project management tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Primavera, MS Project).
• Ability to interpret technical and commercial project data.
• Fluent in French (mandatory) and professional English.
• Available to start on short notice.
