My client is a leading company specializing in laser processing systems, continuously innovating to enhance precision, efficiency, and technological capabilities.

The team is dedicated to developing cutting-edge software solutions that integrate seamlessly with our hardware to meet diverse customer requirements.

Your Role

• Develop, test, and maintain software solutions for their laser processing systems.
• Design software solutions in C# for customized machines and guide these projects from initial concept to final release.
• Take ownership of specific software modules and ensure their seamless integration.
• Work collaboratively in agile teams with software developers and colleagues from other technical departments, from requirement gathering to solution implementation.
• Conduct error analysis on existing systems and develop strategies for resolving them.
• Coordinate with external development partners and stakeholders to align on project goals.
• Document your work in Confluence and Jira to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering, engineering informatics, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in C# or another object-oriented programming language such as C++, Java, or Python.
• Familiarity with modern development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban and experience using ticket systems.
• Proficient in version control systems such as Git.
• Independent, structured approach to work.
• Proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken.

Preferred Skills:

• Works with clean code.
• Experience with DevExpress, WPF, DI/IOC containers, or HALCON.
• Knowledge of .NET framework and test automation or CI/CD tools (e.g., MSTest, NUnit, Azure DevOps).
• Willingness to travel occasionally (about 15 days per year).
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
