Naval Architect

Are you a Naval Architect passionate about sustainable shipping? We’re seeking a talented individual to join our innovative team in Rotterdam. As a Naval Architect, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and implementing groundbreaking zero-emission solutions for the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct feasibility and workability studies for zero-emission technologies in existing or new vessels.
• Design and develop concept designs, drawings, and calculations.
• Perform comprehensive Naval Architecture calculations.
• Review and approve engineering documents, including system diagrams, construction plans, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with Class and Statutory regulations.
• Support project management, engineering, and operations teams.
• Conduct on-site inspections for new build or conversion projects.
• Propose technical and efficiency improvements for our fleet and external clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (5+ years preferred).
• Proficiency in Naval Architecture software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Ansys, etc.).
• Excellent English language skills (written and spoken). Dutch language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands (EU citizens considered).
