Blockchain Protocol Engineer (Rust)
We’re looking for a skilled Blockchain Protocol Engineer with deep Rust expertise and strong experience working at the protocol level. You’ll focus primarily on our consensus layer-optimising and extending a high-throughput BFT system to support thousands of transactions per second
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and optimise a high-performance BFT consensus layer in Rust
- Collaborate with cryptography and infrastructure engineers to ensure secure and efficient protocol operations
- Work on low-level networking, state synchronisation, and validator management logic
- Benchmark and stress-test consensus mechanisms for scalability and reliability
- Contribute to open-source components and internal tooling
