Project Manager – HR Technology Implementations
Hybrid – New York City
$110,000 – $140,000 per year (depending on experience)
We’re working with a leading HR technology solutions provider that’s seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team in New York City. This is a hybrid position, offering a mix of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, proactive, and personable professional with strong experience in software implementation-particularly within Human Capital Management (HCM), ERP, or HRIS systems. You’ll be responsible for guiding complex software deployment projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring client success and exceptional execution throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full lifecycle software implementations, including project planning, scoping, execution, and delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across client stakeholders, partners, and internal resources.
- Develop project timelines, Statements of Work, and manage budgets and deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project teams, providing strategic guidance and support.
- Advise steering committees and executive sponsors, escalating risks where appropriate.
- Oversee consultants and technical resources, ensuring projects meet quality and performance standards.
- Track project performance, budgets, and reporting metrics.
About You
- 3-5+ years’ experience managing ERP or HRIS software implementation projects.
- PMP certification (preferred).
- Strong understanding of Human Capital Management processes and “hire-to-retire” lifecycle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – confident engaging with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Technically adept, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working onsite with clients and remotely as part of a hybrid model.
- Bachelor’s degree (required); advanced degree a plus.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Multilingual skills (French, Spanish, Portuguese) are a plus.
