Automation engineer

Experience the world as an Automation Field Engineer. We are looking for a person who wants to take active ownership of our solutions. This position entails extensive customer contact both over the phone and on-site. The role involves international travel, with somewhat less travel within Norway. This exciting position offers a lot of variety:

Serve as the first line of contact to solve customers' challenges
Conduct inspection, maintenance, and service
Provide follow-up during the installation and commissioning of existing and new projects
Program and configure software for PLC and SCADA systems
Prepare software documentation
Prepare project documentation
Provide customer support both remotely and on-site

Holds a master's or bachelor's degree in Cybernetics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a relevant technical vocational school qualification; equivalent experience may compensate for formal education
Interested in PLC and HMI, with experience in AVEVA/Wonderware, Siemens TIA/PCS7, or Omron
Motivated and structured, proactive, and willing to play a central role in both small and large projects, including start-ups and service assignments at customer sites
Able to work both as part of a team and independently on service assignments
Proficient in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written
Enjoys working in a dynamic environment where every day is different
Self-motivated and a team player
Must be located in Norway

This position primarily involves extensive travel. During periods without travel assignments, you may be required to participate in other types of work, such as development, engineering, and testing of new projects at our office in Vestby.
