Backend Software Engineer – PHP

My Client:

They are a leading organization in the dynamic real estate industry in the Dutch market, and they are currently seeking a talented PHP Developer to join our small yet agile team. Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain PHP applications within the real estate domain, using the Symfony framework.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable solutions.
• Work on specific functions using Python to enhance existing systems and processes.
• Ensure smooth integration of applications by having a strong understanding of REST APIs.
• Take ownership of the software development life cycle, including testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Collaborate in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to deliver high-quality code.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
• Solid knowledge and experience with the Symfony framework.
• Proficiency in Python for developing specific functions and enhancing existing systems.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools for efficient code integration and deployment.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
