Your Role as a Freelance Data Scientist IAM (Dutch Speaking)

The Identity & Access Management (IAM) team ensures that users have the correct access and authorizations at all times, enabling them to work efficiently. The team follows a Microsoft-first policy, utilizing Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) as the core tool. Power BI and Python are used for role mining & engineering.

The IAM team plays a crucial role in maintaining a secure and user-friendly IT environment, with a strong focus on Identity Governance Administration (IGA) and Zero-Trust principles in the coming years.

Your Responsibilities

• Work in an IAM environment handling authorization data and processes like onboarding, internal mobility, and offboarding.
• Develop and use role-mining tools to propose new business roles based on current authorizations.
• Ensure these business roles contain all necessary access rights for employees.
• Participate in SCRUM events and project meetings.
• Generate business and customer value using data science techniques while adhering to data security guidelines.
• Work on the Identity Governance Administration project, preparing role proposals that define necessary permissions for various job functions.
• Contribute as a data expert in the IAM DevOps Scrum team (approx. five members).
• Develop and maintain Python-based, in-house role-mining tools in Power BI.
• Support the team in keeping the IAM environment secure.
• Provide the Product Owner and Project Manager with relevant information to prioritize tasks.
• Collaborate closely with team members to align data domains with reference architecture.

What You Bring as a Data Scientist

Requirements

• Education level: Minimum MBO (vocational education)
• Experience:
  • At least 3 years in IT, including 1 year in data science within a complex environment
  • At least 1 year of experience with Power BI
  • At least 1 year of experience with Python (or similar programming languages)
• Expert-level skills in Excel (pivot tables, reporting, etc.)
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Identity & Access Management and role mining
