Electrical Engineer – Data Centre (Contract)
Location: [Atalanta, Georgia]
Duration: 6-12 months (extension possible)
Rate: Competitive (W2 or 1099)
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Contract) to support commissioning, operation, mission-critical electrical systems in a data centre.
Responsibilities:
- Support MV/LV power distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear
- Oversee contractors and commissioning activities (FAT/SAT/IST)
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70/70E, IEEE, OSHA
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and support maintenance activities
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in data centres or critical facilities
- Strong knowledge of 480V/208V systems and electrical safety
