Senior Network Automation Engineer | Telecoms | Home Office Contract

Location: Remote (occasional travel to client site across DACH region – once per month for 2 days, expenses covered)
Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)
Day Rate: Competitive DACH rates (contact me to discuss)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Network Engineer to join a leading mobile operator. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work remotely, with occasional travel for brief in-person meetings. If you have strong programming skills and a passion for automation in network engineering, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and automate network monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with teams to support and improve automation for monitoring applications, primarily focusing on Stablenet.
• Work with customized development platforms, utilizing programming skills to optimize network processes.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Programming skills in languages such as Python, PERL, SQL, XSLT, or similar (the specific language is less important due to custom platforms).
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as Stablenet (preferred), OSS10, Netcool, Cacti (beneficial but not mandatory).
• Strong background in Network Engineering and Automation.
