Technical Superintendent – Container & Bulk Vessels
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands

We are looking for an experienced Technical Superintendent to join our Rotterdam team, overseeing a fleet of container and bulk vessels. You will ensure vessels are technically sound, compliant, and operating efficiently, while managing maintenance, repairs, budgets, and dry dockings.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage technical operations of container and bulk vessels.

• Oversee planned maintenance, repairs, and dry dockings.

• Ensure compliance with class, flag, and company standards.

• Coordinate with crew, contractors, and shipyards.

• Monitor budgets and technical performance.

• Support crew training and provide technical guidance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine or Mechanical Engineering.

• 5+ years’ experience in ship technical management, ideally with container and bulk vessels.

• Strong knowledge of ship systems, machinery, and maintenance.

• Experience with dry dockings, inspections, and statutory compliance.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
